Hi! Your article is a really good draft and already has a lot of information in it, so I don't think you'll need to do too much editing before you have a full fledged article! Here are some positive things I noticed:

  • The sections are very well organized and make sense chronologically. I like that you highlighted his career with mountain climbing, then his work in movies and publishing books. You do a good job outlining his life and everything he's done.
  • I also really like the intro at the top of the page that provides an insight into what the rest of the article is about. It is concise and informative at the same time, and I don't think it is too much detail or provides too much of an emphasis on a certain topic in the article.
  • The entire article has a very neutral tone, and I don't think it falls too much on one side. Just keep that in mind while continuing to edit the article to ensure that it stays neutral.
  • The sources also look reliable, and seem to provide information that is accurate. Remember that the more quality sources the better, and both the writing and movie sections will be even more reliable once sources are added.

The only thing that I would suggest is adding a different picture if you can find one. The picture of his headstone is still good, but I think it would be even better if you could find an actual picture of him or one of his movies, or something like that! I am also excited to see what you add to the "early life" section, because I think that one could be very interesting. Other than that, keep editing and I think the final product will be a great contribution to Wikipedia!

The article parts that are finished are really good. The sources you have are good but I would suggest finding a few more as you flesh out the rest of your article. Also consider adding an info box. Its a very promising start though and very interesting!

Bridges2Information (talk) 06:44, 20 May 2019 (UTC)I agree with both reviews, above. Great work! It's coming along well. And although we haven't been able to find an openly licensed picture of Gaston, the bust on the rock is MUCH BETTER than the tombstone!Reply
