Wikipedia Potential Edits: I found stub articles concerning the Joint Interoperability Test Command and another about World IPv6 Day day after looking up an article about IPv6, the next-generation internet protocol. As with any other wikipedia article, every piece of content published in the article must be backed up with sources. My general approach to revising any article is to first find several references that were given on that page. I plan adding information about questions I have about the day, specifically about what they plan to do with IPv4 on that day. Also, I was wondering exactly why companies like Google facebook, and yahoo! are endorsing the event?

Another random find is Institution of Electrical Engineers.

Here are my sources for World IPv6 Day

My planned contributions to World IPv6 Day is to create a page for Test Drive Day, add more citations, and talk about the planned goals of World IPv6 Day

I also want to add a short excerpt about the transition from IPv4 to IPv6

New Project: Cybernorms Group

edit

I was a little bit frustrated with the lack of direction with World IPv6 day because most of the ideas/research for IPv6 were exhausted on the IPv6. Also the event was more of a corporate than individual concern. I was asked to find a new topic and created the cybernorms group page after a recent ars technica article about how pirate bay renamed themselves to "research bay". I have not yet discussed this topic with the ambassadors but have taken the liberty to add new information. Dtslife (talk) 22:52, 19 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Check (as opposed to check plus or minus) because of lack of ambassador conversation transcript. Excellent job in finding a plentiful amount of source material, and very clear framing of the categories of change you'll be imposing upon the current article.
