Some advice about your new journal articles

edit

Hi, thank you very much for your articles about journals. These are valuable contributions to the encyclopedia. I have a few suggestions for you.

  • You are italicizing the journal name, as is proper; you should also bold the name of the journal the first time it is used in the text (that is, not in the infobox).
  • "General info for online edition" - this section header is not particularly useful, and there should not be any section header before the first article text. I would omit this entirely.
  • Where you put the keyword and related information - please write full sentences where you say what this information is.
  • This character: ¬ seems to be in all your reference sections. I'm not sure the point of it, but it should not be there.

Please let me know if you have any questions about this or I can help you at all. Again thank you for the work you are doing! :) LadyofShalott 15:51, 3 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of SOAS Literary Review

edit

The article SOAS Literary Review has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability. Website doesn't seem to have been updated since 2006, only 5 issues ever produced, the last one in Spring 2005 (indicated as being the "current" issue...). Does not meet WP:GNG or WP:NJournals.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
