Hellsing reception section

edit

Can you show me the guideline or manual of style indicating the limit of words that a reception section should have? You removed several acceptable sources for no justifiable reason, all of them included in WP:A&M/ORS. One thing is to shorten sentences and other thing is to simply delete content. The content removed was not removed because the sources were not reliable. There are way too much repetitive statements that add nothing to the article. What do you think of the article the way it is right now, does the reception section look acceptable to you? 5 lengthy paragraphs essentially boiling down to “I liked this, I didn’t like this” is not what I would want the article to look like.
I don’t know of any guidelines limiting the length of reception sections specifically but from a quick look at WP:RECEPTION, the section could use some heavy work, especially on “consolidating details” and “not overusing direct quotations” Dropfour (talk) 11:13, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
I understand and agree that it should be shortened and make it less wording, but arbitrarily deciding which sources should stay and which should not, when all of them are acceptable, does not seem to me to be an ideal solution. Xexerss (talk) 18:04, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
