Stranraer Town Railway Station
editDo we have an entry for the old town station of Stranraer. I remember, when I could get access to Railscot it mentioned that the station closed in the 60's but up until at least the 80's the site was still used for sidings. If rumours come to pass and the harbour station closes, I wonder if the old town site will be reopened as it seemed from what I read to be a far better station site, though inevitably at the time, the main focus was the ferry link.
