A tag has been placed on your user page, User:DreamBowl, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages; user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: Click here to contest this speedy deletion which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy deletion candidate). Doing so will take you to your user talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also edit this page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Bentogoa (talk) 12:51, 3 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. This page is not unambiguously promotional, because the page describes a football game and event in a historical context. Similar to other college bowl games and the Super Bowl, the Dream Bowl is about a game that has historical relevance. The wikipedia page for The Dream Bowl is developed for describing the history of the game, the results and statistics from the games, a listing of the players who have played in the game, and the impact the game has on sports in America and the historical impact of Martin Luther King, Jr. and athletes living their dream. There is no ambiguity here. This event involves hundreds of athletes who consider playing in the event as a signature moment in their lives and this page is a means to memorialize the data and details of the game similar to other bowl games and the Super Bowl. Sorry for any confusion. I was unaware of the rules. I have modified the username and I have explained this page is a simple historical page and is not for promotional purposes. Players had asked me to create the page to help signify their participation in the game and the meaning the game had for them.
