Welcome!

Hello, Drealgrin, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!

Logging in

edit

Please be sure to always log in to your account. Failing to log in is not a terrible problem, but you cannot do so intentionally to avoid restrictions on edit warring. While this may not have been your intention, the fact that you edited while logged out to make the same controversial change looks worrisome.

Also, you need to stop making that change without discussing it on talk. The previous version had long standing consensus. You now need to explain on talk why you think the word should change. Continually making the same change to an article without discussing it on the talk page is called edit warring, and is not allowed. Please discuss on talk. I will start a thread there where we can do so. Qwyrxian (talk) 14:02, 31 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:49, 31 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Ethics of circumcision. Once the block has expired, you're welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Sexual assault. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Jasper Deng (talk) 01:29, 3 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Circumcision, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. -- φ OnePt618Talk φ 07:43, 2 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
