Hi there. I had a look at a few of your edits and liked your attention to detail. Perhaps you're a language expert. You may wish to write a sentence or two on your user page so that your signature doesn't appear red everywhere you insert the four tildes. Thank you indeed. I have very little experience along this line, so I'm not sure what I need to do here. I do like clarity in English sentences (I'm an English teacher).

Tony1, I applaud your efforts to reduce over-linking; as you say, it devalues the useful links when every second word is a link that leads to something that we didn't want to see.Dpkipling (talk) 12:04, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

A belated welcome!

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Dpkipling. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Dabomb87 (talk) 14:35, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
