Hi Subash, great to see you back on Wikipedia! I've also been quite inactive lately, but I still occasionally check in and make some edits. Always glad to help.  :) -download ׀ talk 18:27, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

Well I guess there is quite a lot you could help with on Wikipedia - WP:New page patrol, WP:Afd, WP: Editor review, or just plain article writing.  :) -download ׀ talk 16:50, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

StarWind Software Page

Hi ;)

"Blatant notability, COI, and promotion issues."

Could you please check page status again:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StarWind_Software

as we've removed all product information and had put links to independent sources. Does it look better now? Can we stay? :)

Thank you!

Hi AK47, I have to admit that the article does look unbiased, but there are still problems with WP:Notability and WP:Conflict of interest. -download ׀ talk 02:43, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

OK, so we're moving in the right direction :) Back to COI question - the only reason we've uploaded this one is to support wiki users to come around SW name on the different pages. Now they need to use Google and walk away to get the same info basically. I don't think it's convenient... Company page (unlike any other pages) is not a spam source as only people who're familiar with SW products or came from the other places in wiki can get there. Does it answer your COI and notability questions? One question so far - why DataCore page has no COI and no notability issues (with only two links from pseudo-external sources and created by DC staff) and SW does? Not pointing with fingures it's entirely for my understanding of the subject :) Thank you!

Hi AK47, just because you may have good intentions for your users doesn't make you have no conflict of interest, as you still seem to be affiliated with the company. Perhaps DataCore may violate notability guidelines as well. Anyways, I would take this conversation to the deletion discussion page so everyone can see your viewpoint. -download ׀ talk 18:08, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

Hi, ex-AK47 here. I'm not affilated sorry for this. I just work in this industry so know both and had spent a flu weekend enditing that one. Good luck!

Curious;
" That's not a PR. It's just an attempt to show the truth to everybody. Pretty much what we do here."
