This category is intended to provide links to organize Wikipedia articles for individuals who have been awarded the Purple Heart. While I assume that your father, Elmer Thomas Hill, did receive the medal, individuals without Wikipedia articles would not be listed here. A demand such as this is not helpful in the least. If there were a reliable sourced article for Elmer Thomas Hill, it would belong in this category, based on your description. Without an article, there is nothing to add to the category in question. Alansohn (talk) 17:47, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi- while I understand wanting to have your grandfather added to the list of notable recipients of the Purple Heart, and you've spent some effort to add him to Wikipedia, it's important to meet the guidelines for notability.
