Italian IPA

Thanks for your query on my talk page at User talk:Vaselineeeeeeee#IPA representation of Monfalcone. This has been discussed at length near the bottom of: Help talk:IPA/Italian/Archive 1, and they have decided not to include ɱ for reasons that are beyond my basic knowledge of IPA. I tried adding ɱ and another letter to the IPA table before, but was reverted by User:Aeusoes1 and pointed to this discussion. Regards, Vaselineeeeeeee^★★★ 12:29, 7 November 2018 (UTC)

@User:Aeusoes1 and @User:Vaselineeeeeeee, thanks for your kind answers. Actually I'm not confident at all with IPA matters and I don't have my own opinion about this issue. I just remarked an inconsistency. If it was up to me I would have included the sign ɱ in the help page, but, as I said, I haven't sufficient knowledge of the matter. In any case, I would suggest to add a note in the help page to clarify that the sign [ɱ] is considered as overdetailing and therefore it's use is discouraged.
