UW-Richland

edit

You are right that all of the UW 2 year campuses used to be called UW Center - XXX. I used to call this school UWC - Richland Center, but I live on the other side of the state. Was it really called UWC - Richland instead?

Yes, it was really called UW Center-Richland and, with the city mentioned--Richland Center--we said a lot of words twice. I put a few other photos there now. I got a note saying I forgot to say that one of the photos (Bench) is by me and so it will be deleted if I don't add that. But I can't figure out where to go to add that? This is my first venture in Wiki territory. I am learning. There is much to figure out. helpmeDorothythompson 14:21, 20 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I notice that you uploaded a nice picture of Melvill Hall. Is that the main building on the campus? Would you take pictures of the other main buildings and add them to the article? I notice that you uploaded a picture of people sitting on a bench. Did you plan to use that image? If not, you should have have it deleted by adding this to the article: {{db-author}} . At any rate, great expansion of the article! Royalbroil 13:54, 20 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for uploading images/media to Wikipedia! There is however another Wikimedia foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In the future, please consider creating an account and uploading media there instead. That way, all the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons. Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Thanks again, and please continue uploading!

If you do upload images there (which you should), then please add them to Category:Universities and colleges in Wisconsin. I took most of the images in that category. Thanks for the images! Royalbroil 16:09, 20 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
