Welcome!

Hello Dorjezigzag, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy, and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  --Kathryn NicDhàna 22:28, 7 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Your TV Shaman link edit

Hi, Dorjezigzag - I think your "TV Shaman" link is more appropriate for a Neoshamanic page. If you disagree, please discuss it on the talk page of the article, rather than simply re-adding the link. Thanks! --Kathryn NicDhàna 21:49, 7 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

P.S. The "Talk Page" of the article is not the article itself, but reached through the tab at the top that says "discussion" --Kathryn NicDhàna 22:28, 7 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

No Personal Attacks edit

In the Plastic shaman article you wrote: "Secondly polarized comments separating the 'sacred and the 'profane' merely exhibit your ignorance to the concepts and practice of Shamanism."[1]

Calling other contributors "ignorant" is not conducive to an atmosphere of co-operation. Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --Kathryn NicDhàna 05:09, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for experimenting with the page Talk:Plastic shaman on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Bushcarrot 17:01, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

You have removed several user warning templates from your user or user talk page. This is a bad idea. These warnings are not put on your talk page to annoy you; they are put here because other editors think that your behavior needs improvement, and we're giving you the courtesy of letting you know. Please respond by changing your behavior, and please stop removing the warnings. Thank you.
