Silicon Dream

edit

This article that you have created needs to be expanded considerably. I tagged it for speedy deletion, because it just said "Silicon Dream. A band." but upon researching them briefly, they are notable enough to have an article. I also moved the page to Silicon Dream to correct the capitalization. Let me know if you need help. • Allow me to welcome you to Wikipedia, in that case! We are always happy to have new editors. To answer your question about the name change, if you look at the article, you'll see a tab at the top that says "move". Clicking on it takes you to a screen where you can rename the page, and automatically turn the previous page into a redirect. I don't have a lot of time right now, but later today I will help you bring the page up to the minimum standards for Wikipedia. I'll also leave a note regarding this on the article's talk page. License tagging for Image:Silicon Dream.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Silicon Dream.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Silicon Dream infobox

edit

I put a band infobox up for the Silicon Dream article. You can fill in the necessary info as you find it. I also bolded the subject in the first sentence, which is standard formatting. I removed the word "bizarre" because it's subjective (what's bizarre to one person might not be to another). If you find a source that talks about some bizarre things they did, you can cite that. I'll keep looking too. Leebo86 12:23, 11 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

That is a great start. Good find in getting his email (though it is true that you can't verify unquestionably that it's him). You can use any reliable sources that he gives you directly in the article, but you unfortunately can't use any quotes from him unless they come from a third party source, otherwise it would count as original research and wouldn't be verifiable for the readers of the article. Let me know if he responds again. Leebo86 17:05, 11 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
