Hi guys. I am not sure if you want to discuss our group article draft here or on Canvas. What do you want to do? Davis, since you seem to be spearheading the group for us and have already chosen the portion to edit, tell us about what you want to change about it. Just to be clear: is this the article in itself, or is this a part of a larger entry? DoctorKarpiak (talk) 16:02, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

It looks like you plan to discuss defunding the police but I am unsure as to what you plan to do in terms of editing it. Are you solely focusing on editing the section that explains the foundations of this concept? If so, I would be sure to have a solid definition of what it is and how it has evolved from its conception to adapt into today's environment. What sources do you plan to add to this section? Will you be discussing how the definition has evolved and how people have different interpretations of it? What does it look like to people? Hrbrod (talk) 19:41, 17 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

I am not following what the article is talking about in full. It said Defund the police effectiveness but nothing states how defunding the police was effective? Maybe more articles explaining how it was effective. Studyhard24 (talk) 01:58, 18 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Peer Review- Including a definition on what it means exactly to defund the police, or an explanation to why people came up with "Defunding the police" is crucial to know for the reader. I would include a source, a scholars definition of what it means to defund the police to give a better understanding to what the article is going to be about. This is a very short section. I think it was a great choice to edit, because there is a lot that can be added. This section is very vague and it does not talk about the consequences of defunding the police. It only gives a little history. Goodegirl126 (talk) 03:14, 20 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
