Good Article

edit

If your thinking of a GA nomination I would try a peer review here first , stating you want to get it to GA status ,then acting on the suggestions you find there and these, from an old peer review, nominate it for a GA here. hope that helps, Harland1 (t/c) 13:32, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Edward Scissorhands

edit

Hey there, I was thinking perhaps about your edit to the article. The thing is that often the lead has the most info on them, so it's no surprise that often the list format is dropped for them. If you look at Spider-Man or Batman Begins in the case of a major lead, or at Spider-Man 3 and Sweeney Todd for multiple leads or major new characters. So they get prominence depending on how much information there is, as all things should really. Cheerio. Alientraveller (talk) 15:06, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello again. I think you'll have to look at WP:FU, which is all about copyrighted images on Wikipedia. The lack of images in the article is based around restrictions on how many images we can afford to include, being an unpaid charity. Edward and Kim are in the poster, so it's a bit redundant, and there isn't a lot of info on Edward's design either. Alientraveller (talk) 15:09, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
You'll have to ask Wildroot (talk · contribs): he's been stewarding over the article. Alientraveller (talk) 15:19, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have reviewed the above article, which you nominated for as a good article and have placed the article on hold. My concerns can be found on the article's talk page. Cheers, CP 05:13, 8 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Winonaryder heathers.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Winonaryder heathers.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 22:53, 8 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Michael Myers

edit

That article is not ready for GA yet, it isn't broad enough in coverage to pass. A "broad coverage" is a criteria of GA. To clarify why i think it isn't broad enough, there are 9 films and it basically covers 3 in any given section.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 12:16, 22 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
