Why did you undo my entry, w,r,h are vowels are are not listed, rather there are vowels pertaining to archaic and or mathematical symbols, each of which pertain to a, e, i, o, u, y. Those were phonetically perfect.
You are looking at it as if the article deals strictly with the English language, which it does not. There is a section of the article pertaining to vowels in English you might want to take a look at. You also might want to discuss your ideas on the article's talk page, Talk:vowel.
