Vortigern (thanks) edit

The IP is adding what is almost certainly original research - WP:OR - to Kent related articles and others (he just added a wiki link to 'Scandia', -- leaving it Scandia, check the link! Thanks. Dougweller (talk) 08:27, 26 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Patent troll edit

Hi. Thanks for your edits to patent troll. The person who reverted your spelling "corrections" should really have explained why: topics on primarily US topics use US spelling and the Americans don't know the difference between practice and practise. Happy editing! GDallimore (Talk) 16:50, 10 June 2011 (UTC)==Reply

Changes to Banagher edit

Hi - you made some changes and additions to the Banagher article recently. The information that you provided on townlands, etc., doesn't belong in the introduction, in my opinion. Maybe some of it should be in History or Geography instead. Any new information should also be referenced. I put a huge amount of effort into getting Banagher a GA status (one of only a handful on Irish places that have it) so I keep an eye on it. It's great to see people adding to it, but the GA standards have to be maintained. Thanks.Corcs999 (talk) 20:41, 24 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Got your message and have updated the article to incorporate the information that you wanted included. I agree that it should certainly be in there. I altered the Governance section to include "administrative units", which is what baronies are described as. I have also included parish and diocese information for RC and CoI, which should also be helpful for genealogy putposes. I have also promoted this section to the top. Have a look and see what you think.Corcs999 (talk) 00:03, 28 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Copyright Compadre edit

I feel your pain.

I have been through many copyright disputes with wikibullies (as I call them) . I had one taken down that I took myself, of a sign that was state property, taken within rule of panorama, of which I had a message from the commonwealth attorney's office verifying lack of copyright status of the sign. It just sometimes comes down to small people with big powers, and an inability to back off when faced with rebuttals.

Remember don't sweat the the small stuff and remember it is all small.

I just thought of a solution for you. Create a flickr account, upload your pictures there with the free license compatible with wikipedia, then use the flickr import utility. I could have done that too. and will in the future. ~ К3вину (RSVP) (What) 21:25, 8 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Bail edit

Hello, I've reverted your deletion of content on Bail. I understand that it does not pertain to section UK, however the information should be rather moved elsewhere than being completely deleted. (If the rest of the article was sourced than I would not have a problem with this unsourced paragraph being deleted). Regards, Cimmerian praetor (talk) 20:39, 7 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi, seeing your description of the edit - I've answered you a couple of days ago on my talk page. I thought you've kept it in your watchlist. I thought it's customary to keep debate on one talk.Cimmerian praetor (talk) 08:06, 11 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Beylical and other language edit

Hi Diomedea, I didn't notice the earlier reversion - sorry about that, I was just mildly irked by the 3 tags saying "in English" in a row, and tried to determine the translation of beylical. I've tried to address the issue as best I can here but I'm not actually familiar with the terms - so if you could take a quick look that might resolve the issue - or at least further comment may let someone else resolve it. Pegida edit

Diomedea Exulans please check the talk page before removing material , as you did on PEGIDA, especially when theres a chance that it may be controversial.--Wuerzele (talk) 11:25, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Association of Business Psychologists edit

The article Association of Business Psychologists has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Cannot find any independent coverage of this organization. Does not appear to be notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Moriwen (talk) 21:40, 12 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Moriwen, please do not delete the page Association of Business Psychologists, it is a valuable organisation that has been undergoing some changes. I am on the Board and will be updating the Wiki page over the coming week or two with lots more information, including citations. Please could you remove the plans to delete it? Also, do you know how I can change the display title to Association for Business Psychology? many thanks! BizPsychologist (talk) 13:03, 20 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
