edit

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 23:31, 19 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

I just need some help

edit

Hey, thanks for taking it easy with me and my edits, again, I know my hastiness isn't helping anyone, especially when we all just want the same thing, here. If we could just discuss some small things when it comes to the edits that I'm trying to make I'd appreciate it, starting with the reception of the albums in question... because I think that it's clear to both of us that a lot of editing has been done to make the reception a lot more positive than it is in reality. Aardwolf68, on Chris Brown you really should've just removed that "yellow journalism" claim, everything else is supported, please fix it yourself, let's not continue this perpetuous edit war--Diana7800 (talk) 01:05, 20 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hey, I did undid my recent edit and removed the unsourced claims of sex icon and yellow journalism. And I don't want to be in this edit war any longer, believe me. I just need some guidance when it comes to this stuff, even if it sounds simple in concept, I'm not good when it comes to doing stuff in small doses as opposed to doing it all at once. It's not a problem as long as you acknowledge it and fix it--Diana7800 (talk) 01:17, 20 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Once again, thank you. My first course of action when I come back is to shoot some of this stuff to a talk page instead hastily editing it without warning. Aardwolf68 (talk) 01:22, 20 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
My talk page is always open for discussions. I really hope that I won't have to revert that same behaviour from you--Diana7800 (talk) 01:26, 20 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Fixed your talk page archiving

edit

Hi! I took the liberty of fixing the auto-archiving settings at the top of this page. Oh, by the way, since no one seems to have said it yet: welcome to Wikipedia! If you have any questions about editing, feel free to drop by the Teahouse, where your friendly neighborhood Wikipedians are ready to help! --rchard2scout (talk) 10:48, 27 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
