Hello, I'm MichaelMaggs. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Eeny, meeny, miny, moe, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. MichaelMaggs (talk) 13:42, 5 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm MichaelMaggs. Your recent edit(s) to the page Eeny, meeny, miny, moe appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been reverted for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. The citation does not list the wording you have added, nor does it support "up until the 1980s" MichaelMaggs (talk) 08:44, 24 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please read WP:BRD which will tell you what to do if someone reverts your edits. It's not acceptable simply to re-revert without comment. If you read my above post, you will easily see what the problem with your edit was. MichaelMaggs (talk) 08:56, 24 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

@MichaelMaggs: I restored the edits, though I would warn against edit warring. I'm pretty sure they accidentally typed 1980s instead of 1880s in one of the edits. –Gladamas (talk · contribs) 09:00, 24 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Gladamas: This probably should go to the talk page if it needs discussion, but did you notice that the citation does not list the wording that Dgen added, nor does it support "up until the 1980s"? (even it it was a typo - 1880s would not be supported either). I will adjust it so that it matches what the source says. MichaelMaggs (talk) 09:10, 24 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
