  • I understand if you want me to log in to do edits, but it sounds like you're experience a case of sour grapes because I checked the history page and at least one user, not even in my area, undid your revert. Clearly I'm not alone.
    • Nah. It's just Wikipedia policy. Some other new editors have tried to add that type of information to the page - and others. It is somewhat common, but never acceptable. All in all, that section of the page is designed to show the popularity of show. Minor conversations between non-notable YouTubies does not belong there. The Nostalgia Critic might be a footnote - but then we would have to add all the tribute reviewers to the page.-DevinCook (talk) 21:48, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Footnote in a sense of a reference only - not listed in the article. Perhaps you can add a sentence to Fan Following that he responds to his fans when possible and then make the response video a reference. That would fit with the article. I was restoring links that were removed from the articles. The attempt was not to soapbox or advertise - just give it a chance to be discussed first. However, I agree that articles should not be used for advertisements.-DevinCook (talk) 12:16, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Your edit history shows something different. You only posted to talk page at Talk:Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III after someone raised an issue, and even then you reverted content after the fact despite lack of consensus. AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 13:05, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Some were reverts from several prior edits. The attempt was to restore the information without removing subsequent edits. The comparison page, between the last two edits, will show them as editions. -DevinCook (talk) 13:19, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Either way, you should discuss this inclusion on each talk page, please do so before re-inserting. I believe there is little value in excessively linking to youtube video over multiple article. So, am I to take from this that User:Nubita can remove anything he/she pleases without consensus, but in order to revert the vandalism, consensus must be reached? Nubita even appears to have an obvious conflict of interest, adding links to a competitor reviewer, the Irate Gamer, while removing links to the Angry Video Game Nerd. He has cited time and time again that the AVGN is 'not notable', yet hypocritcally inserts a user with zero mass media coverage and notability. All edits from Nubita, save for two, since October 15, 2007, were the act of removing AVGN links, lines, and paragraphs or inserting material in support of the Irate Gamer. I wasn't specifically referring to the insertion of IG links. It's unfortunate that the edits overlap, in this instance I overlooked that. However, Devin has inserted various other AVGN links on other articles around the same time, which was why I posted to his talk page. You can review his contribution history. The Angry Video Game Nerd show has reached the notability guidelines for inclusion. The other reviewer has not yet met those. This isn't an issue of balance or neutrality. If he gains in popularity and becomes more than a simple YouTube vlogger, then it might be helpful and meaningful to list him. Agreed. I don't think AVGN is a professional movie reviewer and the links are not relevant in the contest of the article. However, I did restore them so the issue could be discussed on the talk page. My opinion is not the only one, albeit I am in agreement. As far as AVGN fans, they are using notability guidelines as well. Before AVGN became a international hit, I didn't think the show deserved an article. It does now. I haven't seen any abuse besides an occassional non-encyclopedic blurb on the AVGN page which is always reverted (by myself or another). This is pretty normal on most pages. I watch about 100 pages and check changes when I get a chance. It is amazing what gets added. -DevinCook (talk) 18:43, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
