Bayelsa State

edit

Hello. Your recent edit to Bayelsa State appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 20:45, 11 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Bayelsa State, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 20:46, 11 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bille tribe, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bonny. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Overlinking

edit

Hi Dessypress - I have reverted a few of your edits, such as Clifford University, for overlinking - so I have come to explain the reason.
As explained at ‎ WP:OVERLINKING we only link the first use of a term in an article, and we do not normally link:-

  • The title of the article, as that produces a circular link back to the same article
  • Everyday words understood by most readers.
  • Names familiar to most readers, including;- major countries, major cities, major languages, major nationalities/ethnicities and major religions
  • Common units of measurement and dates

There are many articles where these are already, incorrectly, linked; however, we need to stop further problems while we clear up the existing ones - Thanks - Arjayay (talk) 12:01, 14 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

September 2021 - again

edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. - Arjayay (talk) 11:56, 14 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style, as you did at Osisioma Ngwa. - Arjayay (talk) 08:43, 15 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

September 2021 - yet again

edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style, as you did at Ibeno Beach.
