I hope the recent changes prove I do not claim any ownership of this article; I simply am trying to improve it. Some of the changes I do not neccessarily agree with, but I will admit the points about L.C. Robinson's sister and Harry Smith's Anthology were needed. Anything I wrote in the article was/is sourced appropriately. I was a little hurt when you noted that the articles I listed on my Userpage (which I do so others know what I created or significantly contributed to) may need to come into question, but I am past it. If you have any other concerns I will read them; however, I have rigorously looked over the article and sourced it so I will need definitive proof to feel inclined to alter anything.TheGracefulSlick (talk) 20:06, 29 October 2016 (UTC)

Yes, your recent changes are very welcome. I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to really look at my suggestions. The only remaining thing that I have a concern with is the names of his parents and especially the name of his mom and what year she died - just because this is something we really have no evidence about. But that is a small complaint amongst the positive additions that have been made. And necessary additions - considering Johnson is such an important figure in the genre albeit relatively not well-known. So thanks again! Demojury73 (talk) 14:36, 2 November 2016 (UTC)Demojury73
