You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Chile. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. You are continuing to post an image that does not exist on the project. There is a page for it, but there is no image there. Please stop until you have the image properly loaded into Wikipedia. There is no reason to keep replacing a proper image with a blank image. Smashvilletalk 16:07, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Are you affiliated with the winery or just a fan? --Smashvilletalk 16:48, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Just a fan of this winery. You should know it was the first winery in Chile and has mantained a small size and great wines!! --Dcousino 16:55, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Just wondering because I recently have been trying to get into wine...(the Two Buck Chuck bit was a joke...although it is rather delicious for 2 dollar wine). Haven't really been able to distinguish too much between them yet, but trying to learn. --Smashvilletalk 18:14, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
You could take a wine tasting course to learn more. If you like to drink wine that's the best way to learn!! --Dcousino 19:10, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wine image

edit

Hello! As the primary author of the Chilean wine article and member of the Wikipedia Wine Project, I appreciate any efforts to improve Wikipedia's wine articles. However, replacing one wine bottle pic with another of equal quality serves no purpose or improvement to the article. We take a neutral point of view when it comes to wine articles and make no conscious effort over promoting one winery over another. Wikipedia is not a wine guide and here we are not in the business of selling or recommending wine. Images are chosen first and foremost on their free use availability, then followed by quality and value brought to the article and lastly on a first come, first serve sort of basis. When I was looking for images for the Chilean wine article, the Concha y Toro pic was the best of what was freely available at the time and its inclusion in the article serves no indication of favor or recommendation. If you wish to replace the image, you need to offer a better alternative. This includes not only overall picture quality but also encyclopedic value which could be something like having a glass of the wine with bottle pic, etc. Again, there needs to be an improvement to warrant the image change. Just substituting one winery brand for another will be considered WP:POV and WP:ADVERT-oriented. AgneCheese/Wine 01:22, 22 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
