Speedy deletion nomination of Gavril Dan Claudiu edit

A tag has been placed on Gavril Dan Claudiu requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. April 2024 edit

Hello, I'm REDACTED403. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Sebastian Rocca seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -REDACTED403 (talk) 13:17, 26 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Hello @Diannaa
Thank you for your help and work done on Wikipedia, but it seems that you are saying that I've copied content from other sites with copyrighted content, which is not the case at all especially that the text has been changed on the fly after it has been reverted by @REDACTED403.
As you've deleted the history of changes, I can't clearly see all the changes done by you as the previous text was written by me directly in Wikipedia so it was not copied, but if you are speaking about the links I've added in the content, they were only added to be able to fact check what was said in the text, as the links go to reputable publications.
I don't have any interest in promoting the person found in this biography page and I'm not getting paid to do the changes, he just asked me to do it because it is way too hard for a non developer to update couple of lines of text on Wikipedia without creating a mess(just think about how you change the photo of that person...
Anyway, I will not do any other changes to this page as it's no point in losing the time.
Wish you a great day! Dcgavril (talk) 09:17, 29 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Some of the content you repeatedly added was a match for materian found in this article, which was published in 2022. Please don't add copyright material to Wikipedia.
If you personally are in contact with the subject of the article, you have a conflict of interest, whether you are getting paid or not. Editing articles where you have a conflict of interest is strongly discouraged. — Diannaa (talk) 13:01, 29 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for pointing out that I actually didn't copy copyrighted content, as that text you are mentioning(from 2022) is already a citation from the subject's foundation site(that got updated in the meantime with newer key values for 2024) that is publicly available information found even in the PDFs files I had attached from the state. Now I can rest assured that I haven't committed any felony by updating a simple Wikipedia article.
Anyway, thank you for taking the time to deal with this. Dcgavril (talk) 13:32, 29 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
"Publicly available" is not the same thing as "public domain". Under current copyright law, literary works are subject to copyright whether they are tagged as such or not. No registration is required, and no copyright notice is required. So please always assume that all material you find online is copyright, and don't copy it here, even if the source website has been updated or changed in the meantime. — Diannaa (talk) 13:55, 29 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
