Nominations of articles

edit

Hi there, welcome to Wikipedia. I notice you have been nominating a few articles for good and featured reviews, one of which I have pulled out because I don't think it's ready at this time.

The nomination process for good and featured article differ but it's important you understand what is required in both. For instance, a featured article nom requires a user to have contributed significantly, or at the very least notification. Good articles must be well written and broad in coverage, while featured articles ideally exemplify Wkkipedia's best work and are comprehensive. More importantly, both require reliable sourcing.

The criteria for both are on the respective candidate pages, I urge you to read them before nominating something. While I don't doubt your intentions are good, it would make the process much easier if everyone tried going through the criteria checklist before nominating. The last thing I want to do is fail an article.

Sometimes I find reviewing articles the best way to learn about the process, after all Wikipedia is a collaborative effort. Let me know if that is something you are interested in and we can take it from there. :) Lemonade51 (talk) 10:01, 22 November 2017 (UTC) Lemonade51 (talk) 10:01, 22 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, I suppose. You misspelled Wikipedia in your second paragraph, by the way. ;) --DD2009 (talk) 13:22, 22 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
