So you deleted my AMSROUND contribution without telling me why? Now I can't get it back to improve it. So much for those few hours of writing - you're right - if you're reckless about the way you delete things (as I believe you have been) I don't feel the least bit motivated to contribute in the future. So why not leave articles around for at least long enough to gather a little commentary before ZAPPING?

By adding four tildes (~) at the end of your comments, your user name or IP address and the date will be automatically added. Makes it tons easier to find you to respond to your concerns.
- So, first, I did not delete the article. I simply saw that it was up for deletion and told you about it. Sorry if you didn't get the message until after the article was already deleted. If you click the redlink and view the deletion log [1], you'll see that User:The Epopt is the admin who deleted the article after it had sat for five days without any objections to the deletion.
- Second, although I did not go into detail about why another editor had proposed the article for deletion, I did provide you with the link to Wikipedia's notability guidelines for articles about web-related materials. Did you read the link? I don't remember the article (since I wasn't actually the one who proposed it for deletion), but if it is a website that doesn't meet those guidelines, then it was not appropriate for Wikipedia.
- If you've read those guidelines and believe the subject is notable according to Wikipedia guidelines, you can simply ask to have the article restored. Because this particular deletion process (WP:PROD) relies on the lack of objection to the deletion rather than a discussion, any article deleted thru this process can be restored on request. Simply ask User:The Epopt to do this for you. (Refer this user to WP:PROD#Closing_guideline_for_administrators if they think they shouldn't restore the article. It's a new process, so some people aren't used to all the rules.)
- But please remember that the article has to meet certain criteria to be kept. If it does not show that the subject is notable, someone will probably nominate it for deletion thru a discussion-oriented process (WP:AFD) to make a more or less final decision. You would of course be able to contribute to the discussion, but if the article was deleted, it wouldn't be restored for you. Hope that helps. NickelShoe (Talk) 04:53, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article muvee, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
