Orphaned non-free media (Image:2007-09-23 091725.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:2007-09-23 091725.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:55, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:DaveAdam_in2007.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Um, right... I only listed some unused images for deletion, the article was aparently deleted earlier. Wikipedia is not a tool for self promotion like MySpace and simmilar sites, see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. I realise it's not easy to get up to speed with all our rules, but you might want to read up a bit on the basics at least to avoid simmilar problems in the future. --Sherool (talk) 16:01, 20 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am David A. D'Ambra, I submitted the article and photos of Dave Adam. I have a collection of his artworks and poems, plays and short stories. I have a documented history of his life. I am somewhat of a historian on this American born Artist- Poet. I resent that wiki has chosen to delete the article and photographs I uploaded here. I do not wish to waste my time or energies to learn more than the simplest of "rules" here. If I had desired a site like myspace or others I would not have trusted the biography, poems, plays, and art I submitted here. If the authorities here wished to further research his poetic works they were footnoted as being at ALLPOETRY.COM and if my sources for his art were in question the wikipeople could have verified the citations that were with my deleted article. I do not trust this site to be the home of this article now ---good day
