HomeafterDark is the debut novel by American author Darryl Robidoux. Home After Dark is a cautionary tale that graciously allows readers to learn from the author's mistakes and misfortune. Robidoux's success came with a price tag: losing the love of his life, the woman he describes as "the air of my lungs, the blood of my veins, the beat of my heart." By sharing the intimate details of his unconventional life, Robidoux hopes others will find a path to their own dreams … by accepting challenges, persevering through hazards and not succumbing to societal and corporate pitfalls.

HomeafterDark was published in October 2008 as a hardcover edition from Five Star Publications. Darrylrobidoux (talk) 06:46, 19 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I can relate with your concern. My background is in copywriting, so I had to learn an entirely new style. In short, think "Encyclopedia Brittanica." Really dry, concise and to the point. Second, writing about oneself is generally discouraged no matter what because of conflict of interest issues. Take a look at WP:COI, WP:NOTABLITY and WP:YFA which should each give you a better feel for the place and how an article works. Good luck! --PMDrive1061 (talk) 07:03, 19 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
