Need your help! edit

Dear Dank, - You will remember me from when you helped me bring the Mark Satin article up to FA status many years ago.

I have helped turn the Radical centrism article from dross to gold over the last eight years. I mean, it was really awful; now it draws more viewers than Bipartisanship!

Earlier this month, an editor decided to change a selected few of that article's citations from the established citation form it had been maintaining since 2013, to a different citation form. In addition, he entered his changes in such a way that the ones he entered on 2 June cannot be reverted. So at this point I have only reverted some of them - mucho awkward.

As you know, WP's rules on this couldn't be clearer; according to WP:CITEVAR, established citation form is supposed to be maintained.

As an administrator, could you step in and roll back his 2 June changes? I lack the authority, and, alas, probably the capacity at this point to undo his work by hand.

I have not needed to call on you for many years. I know a lot better what I'm doing here now, but this one stumps me, plus I don't want to offend the editor involved or those who may be working with him. Best, - Babel41 (talk) 02:02, 12 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Good to hear from you, hope you're well. I'm not comfortable using admin tools on that article, but I think the article will be fixed if you ask for help on the talk page of WP:WikiProject Politics. - Dank (push to talk) 03:56, 12 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for this, I will proceed forthwith. As for me, altho' my powers are fading, I am in love in my mid-70s, thus no complaints! - Babel41 (talk) 03:09, 13 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
