Hey, Daniel-san! Let me formally welcome you to Wikipedia.

Welcome!

Hello, Danielwsmith, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome!

And since you're now the proud holder of a Wikipedia biography page, you might want to take a look at this, which explains some of Wikipedia's labyrinthine policies in a way that's focused on famous folks like you. :^) There are also guidelines on editing your own biography page and conflicts of interest; my creation of the page was somewhat against the spirit of the latter, and I'm hoping that nobody complains. The edits you made to Daniel Smith (photojournalist) (somebody moved the page) aren't a problem, but I thought you ought to know.

Hope this means you're safely arrived in Baghdad! —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 05:17, 24 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
