Welcome edit

Hi Danielstern, and welcome to Wikipedia!

My name is Λua∫Wise and I have been on Wikipedia for sometime now. I have been wandering around when I saw your name and decided to drop by to see if you need help with Wikipedia. I have also attached this list of some links that might help you:

You should also note that you have to sign your comments by using four of those ~ at the end of your messages (i.e. ~~~~, this will simply place your user name and date; see my signature at the end of this message as an example.)
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have a question or require help with Wikipedia, you can leave me a new message here.
P.S. Some new users find editing Wikipedia a bit difficult at first, but it only seems this way. In fact it is quite easy to get used to editing it and actually finding that enjoyable ! :)
Good luck! :)

hello! edit

Good morning Daniel Stern,

I have received a message from you, I believe by mistake, regarding black holes. I have already contacted the user whom you intended to send the message to. I have also changed the content of the article black holes as per your suggestion.
Should you notice any other mistake, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to correct the error.

Cheers! Λua∫Wise (Operibus anteire) 14:27, 15 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

It seems that you actually wanted to contact me. Thanks for your input. I haven't actually gotten around to doing anything with the sections on observations of black holes. I, personally do not have too much experience with this aspect (I am a theorist) so it would be very nice to have some input from somebody who has more experience in this field. You are a new user, so you cannot edit the black hole article directly (it is semi-protected to to ward it from vandalism from IP-users), but you can edit the Talk:Black hole page.
Please post any further suggestions you have over there. (If you want to make contributions to the article you can also post them on the talk page, and I (or an other established user) can then add them to the article.) Also please join in on the discussion on how to restructure the sections dealing with observation of black holes. (Due to changes in the content above it, it at least needs to explain more about accretion disks, further more I believe some of the stuff mentioned in these sections is misleading or just plain false.)
