Welcome! edit

Hello, Daniellereyes01, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Gotham (TV series) has not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

Orphaned non-free image File:Outlander logo.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Outlander logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:54, 7 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Deletion of image File:Outlander Logo.png edit

The image you re-uploaded as non-free, File:Outlander Logo.png, is up for speedy deletion as a copy of the same free file from Commons (File:OutlanderLogo.png), as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.— TAnthonyTalk 19:38, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Outlander edit

Welcome to Wikipedia and thanks for your contributions! You seem to be a new editor, so please allow me to address a couple of things regarding your recent edits.

  1. You have changed the infobox image in the article Outlander (TV series) five times over the last eight days without any comments in your edit summary to explain why. As you have been reverted every time by User:Drovethrughosts, you should start a discussion at Talk:Outlander (TV series) explaining why the image should be changed before you do it again. Wikipedia is a collaborative effort, and repeated reverts of the same edits can turn into an edit war, which can result in blocks on your editing privileges.
  2. The plain text Outlander title image does not need to be re-uploaded as a non-free image, as you continue to do. It is hosted at WP Commons as a free image (File:OutlanderLogo.png) which is already in use at List of Outlander characters and List of Outlander episodes. If the discussion results in a change to the TV series article, this existing file should be used.

Thanks, and please let me know if I can assist or advise you with your editing.— TAnthonyTalk 19:41, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

July 2016 edit

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Outlander (TV series) does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! — TAnthonyTalk 21:13, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Thank you. — TAnthonyTalk 21:14, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Scream Queens edit

Stop changing the colour of Scream Queens second season. The colour is taken from the official colorfication the series' second season. If you take issue with the colour take it to the Talk. LLArrow (talk) 07:40, 1 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
