....what???

edit

The link I am replacing has less ceiling fan relevant material contained in it as compared to the site I am replacing it with. The link is NOT SPAM! I am only editing from one IP address, someone else is replacing it to, due to you continuously reverting it back. I would appreciate it if you would halt what you are doing to this wiki page, as I have worked on ceiling fans for over 10 years, so I know what I am doing.

If you read WP:EL, especially the section WP:EL#ADV, you will find the following phrase: You should avoid linking to a website that you own, maintain or represent, even if the guidelines otherwise imply that it should be linked.. The Wikipedia definition of spam is slightly different from the common definition of e-mail spam; it is a shorthand for linkspam, as described in WP:LINKSPAM. What makes it linkspam is not so much the content of the page, but rather the intent of the person who adds it, which is in your case pretty clear. By the way, if you have 10 years of experience on ceiling fans, your input to the article (correcting mistakes, adding more information) would be very welcome.
