Caledonia land dispute

edit

Protesters seized sensitive OPP documents showing alignment with the United States in trying to control matters and a list of paid non-native aggitators. The documents were photocopied and distrubuted to media inlcuding the Hamilton Spectator but to date there have been no reports on the documents. The Ontario government has asked Six Nations that all photocopies be handed back.

I was just wondering if you have a source for that statement. Wikipedia likes to have sources cited. And same with the CH cameraman being hit with the billie club. Thanks. --JFred 01:24, 18 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

hi, ergh, i should have bookmarked things at the time!!!!! you can find it on http://www.mohawknationnews.com

i don't check in here very often, so you may want to nag me to find the articles (i don't know my way around wiki and clicked on your handle but couldn't figure how to post a comment there). scout_vagabond@yahoo.ca

also i believe the hamilton spectator ran some news with the same content...but you're on your own on that one :)

Stephen Harper

edit

It's been reverted before. Looks like linkspam, in that it's not really encyclopedic. If Harper was writing the blog that might be different. Also when you get there it appears to show little to do with Harper. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 15:40, 1 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

If you feel it should be there then talk it up on the Harper talk page. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 02:11, 3 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Please stop repeatedly adding this same link to the Politics of Canada page. --thirty-seven 05:06, 4 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
As you can see I am not the only one that is asking you to stop. So just do as I suggested and discuss it on the talk page. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 06:13, 4 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Wait a minute. I didn't say anything about the "Politics of Canada". It was user Thirty-seven. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 06:18, 4 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
The third comment down from the Stephen Harper heading was from User:Thirty-seven, not me. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 06:59, 4 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Dancingwaters: Sorry for the confusion - to clarify: You have been adding the same link to the Politics of Canada article that you have been adding to the Stephen Harper article, so I added my comment about that here. To answer your question from my talk page, I have no special authority to tell you to stop adding something to the Politics of Canada article. However, you have repeatedly added it to that page (and to the Stephen Harper article) and different users (including me) have repeatedly removed it, so it seems to me that many users do not think that link belongs in those articles and will continue to revert it as long as you continue to add it in. To avoid this situation (a "revert war"), I suggest that you make a proposal in the articles' talk pages to add the external link to the articles, allowing contributors to reach a decision, one way or the other. I see you've already done this in the Politics of Canada talk page - thanks. --thirty-seven 00:44, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
