Tallest buildings in Dallas

edit

Hello. I have noticed that you have taken in interest in the List of tallest buildings and structures in Dallas page, which is great. You have recently re-added a section named "Other buildings under construction..." which I unfortunately had to remove twice previously due to WP:MOS issues, and have again removed. The height minimum for the list is 400 feet (122 meters), and this height minimum needs to be used for every section on the page. Therefore, while the information in the section you have wriiten is interesting, it does not belong on the page. I have left a notice on the page's talk page, so if you would like to discuss the matter further, you can leave comments on that page, or drop a message on my talk page. Thanks and cheers, Rai-me 21:23, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oh, you did not make me disappointed at all, and I am sorry if my post caused to think that. Believe me, I wish we could include all buildings; I have run into similar problems with other tallest building list FLCs. Unfortunately, a minimum height of lower than 400 ft (122 m) would unreasonable for a city that has as many skycrapers as Dallas. However, this page is only a tallest buildings page; several cities have "List of buildings" pages as well, to go along with the tallest building pages. These articles attempt to list every structure deemed notable in a city. A page such as that (which used to exist for Dallas, but which I redirected to the tallest building page, as it really only contained the city's tallest buildings) would be the perfect location for a list of all of Dallas' smaller, yet still notable, projects, particularly those that already have Wikipedia articles. Thanks and cheers, Rai-me 02:48, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
