Wrongful Accusation (Lucid dream or whatever it is) edit

Dear Patstuart, I think you have made a mistake. I have been accused by you of editing Lucid dreaming with somethin bad. That wasnt me because at that time, i was having my dinner; if the IP addy is similar to mine, it might have been my twin sister messing around on her computer but from what i no, i have been accused of something i havent done.

Your username has no history of any contributions whatsoever, save the one you posted above. So I went to the page Lucid Dreaming, and I found that today I reverted this colorful edit: [1]. That is probably from your IP address, which has a reverse WHOIS to Telford, England. I will post this message on that talk page as well. In the meantime, I would advise you to have a talk with your sister. -Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 22:41, 22 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

No, don't trash her room. Trust me, it's not worth it; she'll just hate you. But encourage her to add constructively to Wikipedia - I'm sure there are plenty of thins she likes, depending on her age (under 12? video games like yu-gi-oh, over 12? things like bands or the like). Good luck. -Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 22:49, 22 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

My sis usually hates me anyway... She plays pranks on me so i do the same back... Girls are unpredictable....

RE:Alan Carr Page - 1st January 2008 edit

Currently, people are editing the page on Gay Comedian Alan Carr by mentioning stuff about Chris Moyles etc. due to current show on Radio 1 reliving the best moments of Chris Moyles Show 2007.

DJ MeXsTa

Thanks for the heads up. I'm listening as well. Scott Mills has done it before and the article was vandalized about 150 times! Don't forget to sign posts with ~~~~ as it produces links to your user page and time stamps the message. Thanks again, Tiddly-Tom 17:44, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks edit

Hey - Thanks for your message. When you leave new message, do so at the bottom the the talk page - I got a little confused :S I've been watching the news (I'll be listening to R1 in about 45 mins). Most news event don't get pages, as they are one off events. Notable ones do, such as 2007 United Kingdom floods do. Hmm.. Maybe it will have one made, but thanks any way for letting me know :) Did you feel the earthquake.. I was tucked up in bed ;) Tiddly-Tom 06:46, 27 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

2008 Lincolnshire earthquake, 2008 Market Rasen earthquake - Hehe. Tiddly-Tom 06:52, 27 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey, Someone deleted the Earthquake Event from February 27 (This day) so ive put it back. Update it if you want.

I did feel the earthquake, thats why i posted about it as soon as i knew what it was.

February 2008 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to February 27, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Thank you. Gary King (talk) 22:09, 27 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Xzibit edit

Hey, well done for noticing the error. Remember anyone can edit - although I do understand that the birth date is written in a weird format in order to produce the age! It is typical to leave new messages at the bottom of talk pages. If you want to leave one on my page, feel free to fill in this form which will automatically create the message at the bottom. Also, don't forget to sign your post with ~~~~ which will automatically create a signature for you. If I can help you at all further, feel free to contact me. Tiddly-Tom 09:39, 15 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey. I looked up her date of birth on the Internet and it said 1980, and therefore I have changed it. It's really useful for editors to have a link to the page you are discussing. If were were to discuss the Radio 1 article I would link it so that in edit mode it would look like this: [[BBC Radio 1]] while in read mode BBC Radio 1. Also - don't forgot to post messages at the bottom of the page, you did get the signing correct however :) Tiddly-Tom 09:55, 16 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Twinkle edit

Hi. I've just seen you get Twinkle. If you need any help using it feel free to talk to me. Twinkle can be quite disruptive if not used properly, so it may be best to try it out at a sandbox. Ollie Fury Contribs 15:48, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello again. I've just used Twinkle to revert an edit to User:Jack/ABs. You have to list a guestbook there! If you want a guestbook create a page like User:DJ MeXsTa/Guestbook and go from there. You'll also notice that when you revert vansdalism, the vandals talk page comes up automatically. Click the 'warn' tab near the top and select an appropriate warning. Ollie Fury Contribs 15:58, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Yep, you'll get the hang of it right way.
I'll tell you a bit a more then I'll leave you alone to Twinkle! When you've done a bit of Twinkling, try applying for rollback rights here: Requests for permissions/Rollback. When you've got them you can get Huggle, a much more advanced anti-vandalism tool. That's if you do want them- Twinkle's fine enough for many people. Ollie Fury Contribs 16:07, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Okay, just in case you don't get rollback rights, don't get too upset. I said after you've done a bit of Twinkling- a meant at least a few days! However if you've done enough vandal-reverting, you'll probably get them. Ollie Fury Contribs 16:32, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Sorry. It's just, they already declined me before and that made me a bit........frustrated because i've been a Wikipedian for almost 3 years but we'll wait and see. DJ MeXsTa (talk) 16:34, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
That's all right- they do look for a certain minimum number of vandal-reverting edits, you've done about 150 edits in two years! But you seem to be a good editor, just keep Twinkling away and someone will approve you.
Regarding guestbooks, I'll make one for you if you like. Sign mine if you want as well. Ollie Fury Contribs 16:52, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
And only 1 warning as well :P (Which was in February 2008 over that Earthquake in the UK which i think was harsh.) I'll sign it (if i can). DJ MeXsTa (talk) 16:54, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Almost perfect, just put the sig at the bottom! (I moved it for you). Where in the UK do you live? Most of the wikipedia I come across are Americans. (Do you want that guestbook?!!) Ollie Fury Contribs 16:59, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I don't mind you making a guestbook for me. I'm in Shropshire (Western England), Most of the Wikipedians i've noticed are from the UK lol. DJ MeXsTa (talk) 17:01, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'm from Buckinghamshire and I know where Shropshire is! (I've been to Shrewsbury and Telford.) My adopter here on Wikipedia is from Michigan though! Oh yeah, what do you want this guestbook to look like? Just a plain list? Or some colour? I'll make a basic one and you can add things. Ollie Fury Contribs 17:06, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'm 3 miles east of Telford :P I don't mind what colour the guestbook is. How do you get Barnstars btw? I've noticed people with some and im wondering how you get them. DJ MeXsTa (talk) 17:08, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Desmon Farmer edit

I removed three categories, "expatriate" categories. Those cats are for people living abroad (currently). This basketball player lives in his country of birth, and he shouldn't be in those categories. Retract your "warning" on my talk page please? 65.124.139.66 (talk) 17:10, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'll try. DJ MeXsTa (talk) 17:11, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
You'll try what? 65.124.139.66 (talk) 17:11, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Incorrect Twinkle reversion edit

You might want to be more careful before making edits like this - the anon appears to be correct, and also your edit summary is misleading. Just letting you know, have a nice day. :) neuro(talk) 17:11, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I noticed your comments on the IP's talk page. A lot of removal of content from IPs are not vandalism - and your first thought should be irrelevant, the tools are not to be used to try and revert as fast as possible - you should look at every single edit before you make it. As I say, I just noticed whilst I was patrolling, and thought I might warn you. Again, have a nice day. neuro(talk) 17:14, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Maybe i should give Wikipedia a bit of a break... DJ MeXsTa (talk) 17:14, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oh, no! Don't do that, Wikipedia needs more active editors using tools like Twinkle. I can only imagine that you are a net positive to the project, but if you do decide you want to take a break, you should see WP:BREAK. neuro(talk) 17:16, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
(edit conflict)Nah, you don't need a break. Just don't assume that every IP edit is vandalism. Read what they type. Also, thanks "Neuro". I was fixing what some other ip went and added a bunch of basketball players to the expatriate cats. Not appropriate, unless they are currently living overseas from their birth country. Please help me remove them? I'm starting with Category:American expatriates in Spain. Thanks, 65.124.139.66 (talk) 17:17, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
That's not what i meant. I meant log out of Wikipedia and do something else because i've been on Wikipedia for about 2 hours now (Logged in at around 14:50 GMT) DJ MeXsTa (talk) 17:19, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Two hours? My friend, some wikiholics can spend 10 hours on wikipedia and not get tired of it! (Do you like that guestbook?) Ollie Fury Contribs 17:23, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I used to spend a good solid 6 - 7 consecutive hours on Wikipedia each day. Ah, the memories... neuro(talk) 17:25, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
The only reason i created a Wikipedia account was because the School IP was ALWAYS blocked for Vandalism ¬_¬ As for the 2 hours, its because no one wanted to play with me on Saints Row 2 (Xbox 360). How do i view the guestbook? DJ MeXsTa (talk) 17:27, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's here: User:DJ MeXsTa/Guestbook. I've signed it myself. I have to go shortly, but I'll see you around. Ollie Fury Contribs 17:30, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

How do i link the guestbook to my page? DJ MeXsTa (talk) 17:32, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Just before I go! You can just out a simple link on your user page, [[User:DJ MeXsTa/Guestbook]], there's a userbox that can hold the link for you (I can't remember what it's called) or you could create a navigation bar like mine at the top of your userpage. Ollie Fury Contribs 17:36, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Easter Eggs in Saints Row edit

Please see WP:TRIVIA and WP:GAMECRUFT - unless the easter egg has gained considerable mention in reliable sources, these are not appropriate material to be covered. --MASEM 14:56, 10 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

SR2 Characters page edit

Yeah, help would be great. Nearly all of the character descriptions need updating as the format they are written in is terrible, and there is no complete list of voice actors. However, I think the Stilwater page needs more attention than any other SR article. I think the Saints Row series should get its own WikiProject page as a lot of work needs to be done on the articles. 60.242.127.62 (talk) 22:06, 14 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Which SR2 Wiki page are you refferring to? 60.242.127.62 (talk) 03:30, 16 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think it would be like an image and would have to be hosted on Wikipedia. There may be a fair-use issue with the logos but I'm not sure. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 14:01, 29 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
