Hello. I don't want to seem to be annoying, but I would just like to say that in Wikipedia the headers are usually written like ==Headername== instead of <b>Headername</b><nowiki>. As well, you might want to sign the comments in the article talk pages with <nowiki>~~~~ so that they would not be confused with the comments of other people (if you will do it, comments will be marked as yours). Thanks in advance. Ask me if you will want to know something about Wikipedia. Burann 18:56, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
Image Tagging Image:Rainiai3.JPG, Image:Rainiai2.jpg, Image:Rainiai.jpg

Thanks for uploading images for Rainiai massacre. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
The media also doesn't have a copyright tag and one should be added. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Renata 13:46, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, I see you added copyright information to the images above. However, it is not enough: you need to provide sources: where are the images from? Who are the authors? Who hold the copyright? Only then you can determine image copyright status and if it is usable in Wikipedia. If you have questions, please aks on my talk page. Renata 16:42, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- The image issue is not only about copyrights. You need to provide sources for every image you use. Thus, you need to add link(s) to websites the images are taken from. It is not enough to say "oh I found it somewhere, but it is old and thus in public domain." Sorry, but that's the policy. Don't shoot the messenger ;)
- As for Armia, I know completely nothing about the subject and I am also far from both Poland and Lithuania. I am in New York. Renata 21:20, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Non-free rationale for File:Rainiai.jpg
editThanks for uploading or contributing to File:Rainiai.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:56, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
