Your weblinks in Cyndi Lauper articles

Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. Song Articles

We do not need an article for every single Cindy Lauper song. It's reasonable to create an article for an album, but one for every song seems a bit excessive. Thank you. alphaChimp^(talk) 23:38, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

How do you figure that I wrote an article for every song? My posts were 100% relevant and provided links to lyrics & album information because the sites you link to are dead links!— Preceding unsigned comment added by Cyndisource (talk • contribs)

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Removing dead links is worthwhile, but I can't see any articles where you did so. Adding commercial links to your own site is inappropriate, especially doing so dozens of times. Fan-1967 15:43, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

I am wondering why a site that is not even up yet is linked but I cant get mine linked. http://www.cyndilauper.us???
