Additionally the scaffold must maintain flexibility in order to not detach from the developing myotubes (early muscle fibers). Scaffold must also allow vascularization (creation of blood vessels) in order for normal development of muscle tissue.

Production:[edit] There are three stages in the production of cultured meat: selection of starter cells, growth medium, and scaffold.

I think with this part you could just make the main heading "The Three Stages of Production" with subheadings of the different stages below it and eliminate the single sentence.Katem0315 (talk) 17:09, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you're deleting the section of starter cells be sure to take it out of the three stages in the production section. For Growth Medium you should add a brief introductory sentence so the reader knows what you're talking about. Same with scaffold. Sanjanamahtani (talk) 17:20, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Make sure you cite where you got your information from in the Growth Medium and Scaffold section. Overall, you could use some more internal links in the article, especially in those two sections as well. --Anjinimathur (talk) 17:27, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Ctadelman: I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at (what are the crossed out sections?) I've tagged a few statements that are unreferenced. Everything you add to Wikipedia has to be supported by a reliable source for verifiability. Speaking of reliable sources, I noticed that you have a citation to the tabloid the Daily Mail. This is not an acceptable source for Wikipedia articles, so make sure you don't add it. When you're creating sections, you shouldn't underline the words, also (MOS:HEAD).
