Hello, Crystalsunn and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.

Go through our online training for students.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, if your class doesn't already have one. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Stuartyeates (talk) 04:16, 2 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to Commons-based peer production does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history.

The edit summary appears in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! John from Idegon (talk) 00:00, 11 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

I moved my contribution over to the "peer production" page because I realized that the sources I gathered information from talked about peer production in general rather than commons-based peer production specifically. Crystalsunn (talk) 04:14, 11 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
I personally don't really care. Just a bit of Wikiworld instruction for you. Next time take a sec and fill out the edit summary so the other editors know why you did what you did. Also, on the subject of Wiki instruction, please remember to sign your postings on talk pages and forums (but not on the articles themselves) by typing four tildes (~~~~). Thanks!
