Speedy deletion of Neo slavery

My deletion was not a commentary on your point--rather, the article seemed to violate the Wikipedia policies of verifiability and original research by not establishing notability through the use of external sources or references. Response to talk page question

Hi Steve,

Let me first begin by assuring you that as I write this, your page has not yet been deleted. Rather, I nominated it for speedy deletion based on my belief that you do not establish the subject's notability--in a short while, an administrator will come along, review your article, and determine whether or not my assessment was correct.

As far as writing the article you want to write, I first have to stress to you Wikipedia's policy on original research, which is one of our core policies: simply put, no original research is allowed on Wikipedia.

However, if you can find verifiable sources that back up your claims, this will both establish notability (i.e. it is notable enough that other people have written about it) and eliminate the problem of original research. Likewise, if you can get your own work published in a reputable journal, you can cite your own work (albeit with some caveats).
