New IP hopping vandal? edit

Hello Crboyer, Just to inform you after 2600:1017:b8a7:89c:f490:ce18:e267:bb4b was blocked a new user - 174.244.179.199 has taken over. Keep up the good work, and thanks for helping to revert vandalism! Pahunkat (talk) 21:31, 3 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

I just reported that ip.Crboyer (talk) 21:32, 3 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Reverted your... well... reversion of Doctor-Foster's edit to List of 20th Century Studios films and added a reference edit

You probably shouldn't be so quick to call an edit vandalism, either - it took me only a few seconds to find that. TheKing'sMongrelSon (talk) 18:01, 21 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message edit

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:21, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism? edit

This was a tough call. Leachman won an Emmy for Malcolm in the Middle. It certainly wasn't vandalism. WWGB (talk) 06:59, 29 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

The Vandalism bit is an automated thing from the RedWarn system I'm using (how do you change it to something neutral?). Whenever I do a simple revert, it calls it vandalism. I didn't willingly call it vandalism. Again, how do I make it something neutral? Also, Leachman won an Oscar for The Last Picture Show, so it helped her become the respected actress she was.Crboyer (talk) 07:01, 29 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
I guess I didn't notice the Good Faith Rollback button. I should do that.Crboyer (talk) 07:09, 29 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks edit

Thank you for the revert, I deserve a self-trout for that. It's my first time using SWViewer and I ended up making such a mistake. --Ashleyyoursmile! 07:50, 13 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Saw that before you contacted me. I added my own (perhaps too extreme) ideas to deal with this pest.Crboyer (talk) 00:05, 11 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Requests for page protection edit

What was this? I think it must have been an edit conflict. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Huliva 15:51, 30 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

My finger misaimed. I didn't mean to press rollback. Crboyer (talk) 16:24, 30 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
Ah one of those things. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Huliva 16:38, 30 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

What is this? edit

Seriously what is this?! You should be more careful when you use rollback feature. Wario-Man talk 19:09, 1 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry. Really. My finger misaimed again and it clicked rollback. I pressed cancel but it still reverted. Sorry again. Crboyer (talk) 19:52, 1 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
It's OK. Stuff like that happens sometimes. We are not error-free beings. Cheers! Wario-Man talk 20:04, 1 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Rollback edit

What's this? Another misclick? WaltCip-(talk) 20:11, 6 July 2021 (UTC) I'm sorry. It is. It keeps happening. I press cancel, but it ignores me. I'm not making any thing up.Crboyer (talk) 21:06, 6 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Rollback... again edit

You seriously need to be careful while using Rollback. Try one of these. Clog Wolf Howl 15:32, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

This is the fourth complaint I've seen on your talk page about your use of Rollback, Crboyer. I am inclined to ask that you have rollback rights removed, but I want to be courteous knowing that you are probably not doing this out of malice. I strongly suggest you try Clog Wolf's linked scripts.--WaltCip-(talk) 15:48, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
I've just installed the script. I should have, really should have, inquired about this solution far sooner.Crboyer (talk) 17:35, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
