Commas
editHi. Many of the commas you removed were correct (I restored them), in some sentences by removing the commas you even changed the meaning. And... that's not a mistake, but why were you removing all the Oxford commas from the Italian food pages? JacktheBrown (talk) 02:05, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, I’d removed the commas before the word ‘and’ and added commas wherever appropriate.
- Not just Italian food pages, I’ve tried contributing to Mediterranean food as well. Crazypianist5 (talk) 07:49, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi again, just happened to check this claim.
- I’ve omitted the commas before the conjunction ‘and’ to be precise and not all the commas from the Italian food pages alone. I’ve also tried contributing to the Mediterranean food space.
- If you believe, I’ve grossly modified the meaning, I’ll be more than happy to review the potential error if specified.
- Thanks. Crazypianist5 (talk) 08:34, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- for example here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Biscotti&diff=prev&oldid=1222128529; "coffee ...or black tea", without comma the meaning is different. JacktheBrown (talk) 08:55, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for sharing the link.. Reviewing it right away. Crazypianist5 (talk) 08:56, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- the link you’ve shared explains it well.
- I’m revisiting the fixes to check for any errors of this kind. Will rectify the same, in case any. Thank you. Crazypianist5 (talk) 09:07, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
