AfD and "nasty things" edit

Crash, I'm sorry if you took what I said as a threat, or as unprofessional. What I was trying to say was that in a deletion discussion, the subject of the article generally gets called "non-notable", and is often accused of being a spammer, etc. Given that the references you put in the article didn't mention Amanda, and the claims made were pretty outlandish, the disparagement would have been worse. I was trying to describe what would inevitably happen, not threaten. Since you were trying to cheer her up, I wanted to save you frrom the joke backfiring if she went and looked at the AfD discussion. --Argyriou

Amanda Egan edit

Crash - that was quite a sweet idea so I thought I'd move your article to user space so that it's not lost. I've moved it to User:Crash25/Amanda Egan should you want to keep it (if not, drop me a msg and I'll delete it). Also, have a look at the messages above - you'll need to add a copyright tag to the images if you want them to stay undeleted! You seem like you'd make a good editor, so I hope your experience won't put you off staying around and editing / creating some real articles... All the best, UkPaolo/talk 08:41, 31 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

PS - I see no-one left you a welcome msg when you joined so here you go... you might find some of the links useful...

Proposed deletion of File:Amandaclose2.jpg edit

The file File:Amandaclose2.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

orphaned file, no foreseeable use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
