Some IP address did it (again) (And AGAIN)
OK. This IP address I gave a warning too so they attacked my talk page, they disobeyed my warning by writing what they got a warning for. So mean, gosh, I mean we all are mean but that's just beyond mean (they are blocked I am just saying my opinion), Yeah but that hurt. Seriously. But my mom always says "If you say or do something mean it will always come back to you." But seriously, that hurt. I am sick of that IP addresses's edits. Three times. Oh my gosh it's a new record for being mean and hateful.I guess by overreacting to that I have a lot to learn. Why are some people so mean like that? Reliableforever (talk) 22:14, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- A userbox on your userpage says that you hope to be an admin one day. It's disappointing to hear, but chances are that if you succeed and become an administrator, you'll be dealing with problem editors like these every day. Don't worry, it happens to all of us and it is not you fault. When you get stressed, though, I would reccomend taking a short break (maybe a week) to avoid doing anything impulsive. By the way, do you have any Wiki-related questions? —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 18:22, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- How do you usually give warnings? Do you prefer template messages, or do you hand-type them? As a general rule, IP addresses and newbies are most often given the template messages, and established 'regulars' are usually given a more personal note. —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 18:33, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

S. Todd
Apologies for not replying earlier, but I've been rather busy with Operation Epsom's FA. I had seen your comment re Sweeney Todd though. If you don't mind I'll give it another read-through with reference to the PR, and I still think there may be too many direct quotes so I'll take another look at those. However, hopefully it's only cosmetic tweaks that are needed, so you can go ahead with the nom whenever you're ready! EyeSerenetalk 09:14, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- Excellent! That would be great. The comments found at its peer review should also be very helpful, but I haven't had any time to actually act upon those suggestions. Cheers. —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 18:17, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
The weirdest thing...
Oh my gosh, The weirdest thing just happened... Reliable♪Forever (talk) 18:21, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

26
Okay I have a question it's not about the number 26 i just put it as a subject because i didn't know what the subject should of been. Well anyways, this person acts like I am a point of reference, or some kind of salesperson instead of actullay being a person? He first added something to my talk page under "Hello" and he said he was the one haggling me on the Wikipedia:Sandbox? But he changed haggling to bothering before I could see it but I finally saw it on the diff. Dude, I don't know what's up with that I tried to figure that out but I think there just probably trying to be funny or something? Because this guy was on another guy's talk page asking a question but the person (more than likely tried to be funny) linked to my userpage? The guy who's talk page it is seems to act like it isn't there... Reliable♪Forever (talk) 18:32, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- Sounds pretty weird. Nonetheless, I can't really help you (or even figure out the problem) unless I have two versions to compare using a diff. Do you know how to link diffs? If not, could you give me the names of the two users so I can check on their respective pages? —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 18:45, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- Dude, it is weird. It's a confusing story. All I know is that the IP has something to do with the user because the IP's signature is that of the guy's. The guy just so happens to contribute to Uncyclopedia... Reliable♪Forever (talk) 18:51, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
What happened 2 days ago...
I finally got to see One Missed Call and it was awesome! Have you ever seen One Missed Call? Reliable♪Forever (talk) 18:52, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- Nope. Maybe I should. :-) I've heard a lot about it. Thanks for the reccomendation! —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 22:33, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

Sweeney Todd
OK, I've been through the various PR comments, addressed what I could do quickly, and made up a to-do list on the talk page for the rest. Hopefully that will give us something to aim at - I think the main points are getting hold of the book that was recommended, and deciding if we can justify those web sources or if we need to replace them with a more reliable source (the rest is just cosmetic). EyeSerenetalk 09:38, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
- Alrighty. Let me know if there's anything you need me to do. At this point it looks fine, but there's always room for improvement! —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 22:31, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

- Did you email me, Rlevse? I don't check my Wiki account too often; I put a note behind the link on the "email me" tab so that I would be notified before getting emailed; I suppose I didn't even consider that you might not even use that link. Hi there (re Cockney rhyming slang)
Hi there,
I see you added a clean-up tag to the above page; also that you said on the talk page that you weren't sure exactly what you thought needed improvement? I'm just wondering if you had any further thoughts; I can see some improvements that could be made myself but I'm interested to know your perspective. Cheers Jonathanmills (talk) 15:56, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
- Generally, I think the article just needs some cleanup/a rewrite. For example, the sentence Thus 'He went for a ball up the frog' (He went for a walk up the road) comes from 'He went for a BALL of chalk up the FROG and toad' Could use some improvement (like not using all caps for emphasis, and other small but important changes). Also, the common examples section, in my opinion, should be written in prose form to appear more encyclopaedic, as there generally shouldn't be a whole section consisting of pure examples, but rather writing to explain those examples. Thusly, instead of Butcher's = Butcher's Hook = Look, there should be something like, In Cockney Rhyming Slang, the phrase 'Butcher's' means 'look', deriving from 'Butcher's Hook', et cetera.
- Lastly, the article's title itself is "Rhyming Slang" and mentions that elements of it appear in other languages, so the article should be expanded so as to portray a worldwide viewpoint, otherwise the article should be moved to Cockney Rhyming Slang.
- Cheers, and I hope you don't think I'm being too picky. :-) —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 21:07, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- No, I don't think you're being picky! :-) Actually I had pretty much the same thoughts -- I don't mind either way about the presence of the list, but I agree the intro could be much better, and also that there is an issue of 'rhyming slang' versus 'Cockney rhyming slang'. Not sure whether I'll get round to doing anything about it right now to be honest, but thanks for your reply. Cheers Jonathanmills (talk) 17:43, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
- Not to worry! I can understand what it's like being busy. Have a nice day, —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 06:59, 13 November 2008 (UTC).

Copyedit request
Hey, Mizu.
I was wondering; if you had time, could you copyedit a movie article for me? I am preparing it for GA, and it was requested that a person copyedit the article and clean it up.
Please get back to me as soon as you can.
Thanks, --Starstriker7(Dime algoor see my works) 04:22, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- I'll try to fit in as much time as possible. Regards, —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 21:08, 8 November 2008 (UTC).
- Thanks for taking up my request.
- I was wondering, did you mean quotations in the Reception section? --Starstriker7(Dime algoor see my works) 00:44, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I really meant the article as a whole. There are a lot of quotations in the article that aren't necessary. Thanks, —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 02:42, 9 November 2008 (UTC).

Signature problems
Yeah I got what I wanted but every time I go into preferences and press save it turns out to be different so I shortened my sig on preferences to simply 'Rf' but I am going to try to see how this works so it's going to look like I didn't sign my comment but I really did because I am going to use the one that I made with colors. So it's not my real sig but I am using it. Just hope SineBot doesn't come or somebody... Also please excuse me if I don't type real fast my keyboard has problems because there's sprinkles inside it and it's breaking all the keys but that's another story... Reliable♪ Forevertalk
- Looks fine now... Did you accidentally type three tildes instead of four? Three tildes make just your usename appear; five makes just the time and date appear, and of course, four makes your username, time, and date show up after your message.
- Now, if that can be ruled out, you're going to have to figure out what you changed when you hit 'save' again. Do you have the raw signature feature unchecked, or checked? —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 07:04, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

Here are the diffs: He did this to my user page.. [1] [2] [3] and apparently 203.122.33.194 is Reluctant Philospher or pretending to be.
[4] I find this to be a little bit odd [5] and this [6] Will you please check it out? Reliable♪ Forevertalk 19:54, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- The first three diffs work, the others return a 404 error, so I can't view them. What was so mean about his comments? —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 01:09, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
wth??
I was on youtube and they said wikipedians were nazis. They said that Wikipedia is overun with Nazis. The ONLY editor I saw that is a nazi turns out to be an administrator. There are a lot of rumors about Wikipedia on Youtube. My friend Santavia was the one who said that maybe I should check out Wikipedia to see some RobotChicken videos. But she's not really a fan of Youtube either. I am definitley not a fan of it just wanted to see what she was talking about and then I saw something about Wikipedia so I clicked on it. BTW, how come Wikipedians think that kids in middle school or elementary school don't make good editors? I mean I am learning quickly how it works cause I read some things but SOME kids are of no use to Wikipedia but most of them can handle their so called 'childish behavior'. Reliable♪ Forevertalk 22:10, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- Well, the thing about Wikipedians and Nazis/Neo-Nazis stems from the notion that Wikipedia is complete propaganda and misinformation—it's mostly just a joke, but some people just don't like our little project.
- About us older 'pedians and kid editors, I don't know. Maybe you should check out Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Ryan. Cheers! —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 01:13, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

I didn't know it was your wife! Ryan PostlethwaiteSee the mess I've created or let's have banter 19:17, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- You got your first questions, from my wife ;-) — Rlevse • Talk • 19:14, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Ick... I almost forgot! I shall try not to get my hopes up, but if this passes, how am I going to thank everyone who participated? I hadn't even though of conjuring up a nice thankspam template! —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 19:25, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- First oppose! :-) —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 19:29, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

- Yup. Although there is always the risk of follow-the-leader. :-) —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 19:34, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

- I think you're being slightly pessimistic - it is a very weak oppose. EyeSerenetalk 19:37, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- Haha. Thanks, ES. I think you're right. —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 19:40, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- You know it. Now go and put on a brew, and leave that 'refresh' button alone. Que sera sera ;) EyeSerenetalk 19:50, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- How did you know?! ;-) I should have kept a counter of how many times I hit the refresh button since it started! —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 19:52, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- Hehe, been there myself :P EyeSerenetalk 19:59, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

So far so great! —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 20:14, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Hey, Rlevse, could you fix the tally? I would, but it seems a little conflict-of-interest-ey, so I won't bother. —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 23:42, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Yea, I'll watch it and fix it as often as I can. You don't touch it. Someone always comes and fixes it. I don't know why the one oppose isn't showing on the bot table. — Rlevse • Talk • 23:50, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Hey Mizu, I just want to tell you good luck. We're all counting on you. Srsly, I thought I'd check in before I finish work, and was delighted to find you're almost at your half century. :D EyeSerenetalk 15:33, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
- Lol, when I got up this morning and found that I was still doing so well, I was extatic. Nice Airplane! reference, by the way! :-) If I make this, though, you three are going to have to help me make a good thankspam template, so be ready! Happy Holidays, —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 17:11, 17 November 2008 (UTC).
Hey Mizu, I just want to tell you good luck... :D I've had a lovely day - mentioned in a complaint on Jimbo's talk page, the bad guy (again) for enforcing WP:ARBMAC... are you sure you still want to do this? Kidding, btw - don't you dare withdraw! EyeSerenetalk 20:04, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
- Hahaha! Oh, I could never withdraw at this point. I do think I'll stay well away from the noticeboards for a few months though. It's best to start off slowly... Lol! —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 17:08, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
Wikipedia Banner
Hey Mizu onna sango 15. How do you get the ugly Wikipedia fundraiser banner of the screen. I tried pressing collapse but you can still see it. It's not like my family is gonna donate to Wikipedia cause they don't care and plus I am too young to do so and I don't have a credit card! I would do so if I was old enough and I asked my mom and she said there's NO WAY she will give up $30. Reliable♪ Forevertalk 21:06, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
My preferences/gadgets/ click "suppress fundraiser banner" (words to that effect) — Rlevse • Talk • 21:08, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you. Reliable♪ Forevertalk 21:11, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Vandalism??
Vandalism is when you ruin public property so why is it on Wikipedia that when someone adds nonsense or non-relevant stuff to articles or even blank pages why is it called 'vandalism'? Reliable♪ Forevertalk 21:15, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- I guess, because there is no other relevant word, besides 'defacing', but that means the same thing. Wikipedia is like a building, when you damage it, it ruins the integrity of it, like vandalism. —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 21:17, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- Well calling people 'vandals' is not nice so people should be very careful with who they call vandals. Just out of curiosty, do editors use the block template as a joke to other editor(but not really blocking them like a fake block)? Reliable♪ Forevertalk 21:21, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, there's one that I posted at User talk:L337p4wn, and I believe King of Hearts also has one given to him as a joke. —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 21:35, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

- Thanks for all the mentoring, Sephiroth. It's helped a lot, as did the admin coaching, though I didn't succeed the first time around. —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 17:05, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Need help.
Hey does Wikipedia have any images that are 160 x 160 pixels exactly (preferebly no disturbing sexual images, alcholic images or obscene images or rude images-has to be appropriate for kids to see)? I am trying to get an avatar for a site and it's driving me insane. Have no luck. Went on Google but just had nasty stuff (like always). Reliable♪ Forevertalk 00:18, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
- Really? You could always have safesearch enabled, if it isn't already; with the right settings Google is relatively safe.
- What type of images are you looking for? Perhaps I could help you find the right picture. (If all else fails, try Clusty. It has less pornographic content and yields better results.) Best luck, —Mizu onna sango15Hello! 04:31, 18 November 2008 (UTC).
