Coolify Thy Wall

Coolify Thy Wall is a play that was performed by an eighth grade English class. The original name was Pimp Thy Wall, but it was censored by a teacher for use of the word pimp. The play is a very funny comedy featuring Bottom, Quince, Robin, Snout, and X to the Z XZibeth. The characters wore two chains each, tight pants, taped glasses, a fairy costume, and pink tights!!! These parts were played by a group of eighth grade friends. The idea of the play was derived from Pimp My Ride, a tv show on MTV and A Midsummer Night's Dream, a play by William Shakespeare. The play's debut was on March 31, 2008, in a New York high school. The actors were paid zero dollars in cash, but they were happy that they were able to put on such a great performance.

Plot

In the beginning of Coolify Thy Wall, Bottom is picking people to play parts for their own play. Quince is picked as Thisbe, Bottom as Pyramus, and Snout as Wall, because a real wall was not able to be brought in. Snout is a very nerdy guy. For instance, he has pens, pencils, and calculators in his pockets. He also is very smelly but always has a combed head of hair. The most nerdy is that he wears pocket protectors to protect his pocket protectors! Snout agrees to be the wall, and Quince, Bottom, and he exits. They are then greeted by XZibeth, and he tells them that he shall coolify Snout. Everyone is overjoyed. The coolifying took so long, though. During this ten minute coolifying, Bottom spun two chains around his neck! After the coolifying was complete, Snout looks like a regular person, and they all live happily ever after.
