Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Conservationaustralia", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it suggests that you represent a company or organisation, rather than an individual. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. Oddbodz (talk) 11:14, 26 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I do not represent a company or organization--just myself. Of course, I would be willing to change my username, if necessary.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.  You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I do not represent a group, an organization or website. In response to a message by Oddbodz I have previously written the following: "Hi, I do not represent a company or organization--just myself. Of course, I would be willing to change my username, if necessary." However, I did not receive any reply at that time. I have now changed my username to Writer13b in order not to give the impression that I represent a group, organization or website. Thank you. Writer13b (talk) 3:58 pm, Today (UTC+0)

Decline reason:

I'm glad you've decided to stick around with a new account. However, due to the restrictions on multiple accounts you should only use your Writer13b ID from now on - there is therefore no need to unblock this account. You may want to put a note on your new userpage to let others know about this previous account; just copy the code {{Template:User previous account|Conservationaustralia}} somewhere on to the page User:Writer13b.
