Your contributed article, Mall:Bullfrog Productions edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Mall:Bullfrog Productions. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Template:Bullfrog Productions. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Template:Bullfrog Productions - you might like to discuss new information at [[Talk:Template:Bullfrog Productions|the article's talk page]].

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Gurt Posh (talk) 11:05, 11 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

I know. I'm very sorry. I was going to create that on the swedish wikipedia (mall means template in swedish), but I didn't post it in the right window. CompuTerror (talk) 11:16, 11 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Comment från mr.choppers edit

I said you had "other problems" because you do have problems with various editors at sv.wikipedia - I don't really know who's in the right, and I don't care. I said it to illustrate that I absolutely don't think that you stole the pictures in question. I will be glad to ignore (since you deleted it right away anyhow) using Ebba Grön to insult me: I would much prefer to collaborate. Even if you're not allowed at sv I don't think you should experience any troubles here, just don't be so quick to take offense. I found Andrade's car through some Flickr searching; if you visit my gallery you'll find hundreds of other flickr uploads, also taken from people I do not know.

The whole reason for this trouble is that the other M5 picture has standard wheels, which is much better for illustrating the article than a car which has been customized in any way. See WP:CARPIX for the guidelines used here. Sure, one does need to weigh the relative merits of resolution and original condition, but then I'd prefer to have that conversation, rather than having various accounts (gurkan, IP:ar) simply delete the changes. I don't want you to think of me as part of some kind of a posse which has taken a dislike to you. Again, I hope to see you around.  ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃  (talk) 19:24, 21 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Ok. Fair enough. I didn't mean to insult you with the video, but I merely wanted to illustrate what I meant. Thing is that I am not El Gurka Rapido and I think that it is clear to them since he's not blocked but I am. I don't see what use it is to explain how things are, because I still won't be believed, but I can try. I know Gurkan. We live not far from eachother and some edits is made from his house since I've brought my laptop there to play poker together with him. I haven't kept score over which edits, but for example I was going to show that my car was on wikipedia and then you had changed it, so I changed back. I truly felt your argument to change was invalid. That doesn't matter any more though, since I've changed my statement on commons and asked cargurus to remove them. Here I must explain why it says 1992, since it's a 1990 car. I added the pictures for a facebook-app and found out today that's why they were on cargurus. Also I found out that you add the year from a drop-down list. Back then 1992 must have been the earliest year even if it's 1991 now. But what good is these explanations, since people want to have me look bad? That's the reason I don't want these pictures on the web anymore, since my identity can be determined since Gameon was kind enough to show images with my registration number. I uploaded them before I understood it was best to keep my identity secret if I wanted to take part of discussions and have had some very bad experiences with some people. Oh boy... You should only know, but I'll spare you the details. - CompuTerror™ 20:11, 21 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I see. I made a comment to save your picture (for what it's worth), but I don't want to keep it available if you want it to disappear - I promise not to comment again regarding the deletion. And again, I really feel no animosity whatsoever towards you, but I would always prefer a conversation about which picture is more suitable to just reverting. Other editors can then join in and a lasting consensus can be reached. Meanwhile, since the Andrade photo is admittedly not of all that high quality (although the plain background is great) I have been on the lookout for a standard E34 M5, preferably one with those bizarre-looking early wheels.
I'm glad to see that you developed a new signature, as this indicates an intent to stick around. Varmaste hälsningar från NYC osv,  ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃  (talk) 06:42, 22 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
I've tried to contribute here on English wikipedia, but it's far more complete than Swedish wiki. There's not much I can add. I've deleted my image on every wiki I added it to. This is not a biggie or a trolling for symphaties, since I want the picture to be deleted. I'm all for what you say about after market wheels. I don't like customized cars in general and have since I bought Emma la femme tried to restore her to original, with some small exceptions as the indicators in the front and at the side. I've even tried for a long time to find original rims for her, but they were usually in very bad condition or way to expensive, so I got AC Schnitzer wheels because they go hand in hand with BMW. Be very careful with Swedish wikipedia, because if you should happen to have another point of view in a discussion, you might get blocked as a troll. I was on Swedish wiki for years, but when I asked to be admin, this whole thing started. Who was I to think I could be admin? I then tried to be more active at meta discussions then, but they already had descided to crush this newcomer... - CompuTerror™ 07:58, 22 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
- CompuTerror™ 18:49, 22 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
