Welcome edit

Hello, Comancheros, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

There is a page about the verifiability policy that explains the policy in greater detail, and another that offers tips on the proper ways of citing sources. If you are stuck and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Shreevatsa (talk) 18:39, 10 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Buddhism article edit

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Buddhism. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. You did this twice by writing Buddhism originated in India rather than the Indian subcontinent. Remember, country borders in that part of the world were very different from what they are today. Thank you. Moby-Dick3000 (talk) 20:55, 16 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Navigation edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Navigation, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. In particular, the assertion you made about the word's etymology requires a reference.. Thanks. HausTalk 05:40, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Neutral Point of View, again edit

Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did to American Academy of Religion, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Priyanath talk 18:24, 20 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

August 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page Ancient Universities of Pakistan has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. September 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Karma (film), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Île_flottante~Floating island Talk 20:50, 28 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
